The £140 million Strategic School Improvement Fund is a grant to support first, infant, primary, secondary, middle, all-through, alternative provision and special academies and maintained schools, and pupil referral units. Teaching schools, multi-academy trusts and local authorities should submit applications to the Department for Education for funding to address local improvement priorities across groups of schools.
