How do I update the NJC Service Term in SIMS.net to show 52.143 weeks per year?

Schools should review the set up in the NJC Service Term to check Weeks Worked/Year is set to 52.143.

To review SIMS.net
Select Tools>Staff>Pay Related
Select ‘Search’
Select NJC Service Term
Weeks Worked/Year should be 52.143. If your service term is 52 Weeks Worked/Year amend to 52.143
Save

You will see this message:

 A second message should appear:

Select Yes

Once you have updated the service term you will need to update any full year (52 week) support staff contracts. 

Open the relevent contract and amend the Weeks/Year from 52 to 52.143 as per the screenshot below.

Once the changes have been made Salary Projections should be reviewed in FMS to ensure staffing commitments are correct.
