If you are in the scheme then you should return claim forms as soon as:
- 13 calendar weeks at work following maternity leave has been completed; or
- on receipt of a letter of resignation; or
- the period of paternity leave has been completed.
It is important to submit your claim following the above. Previously some schools have delayed until late in the year which causes a backlog of work, allows minimal time if queries arise and prevents a reasonable estimate of payouts for budgeting in February.

Forms that are submitted after the deadline at year-end will be returned unpaid.
